    A rewarding, positive experience between dog and owner. Canine Good Citizen is a 10-skill test that teaches good manners to dogs and responsible dog ownership to their owners. A cornerstone for Therapy Dog.

    There are five AKC Trick Titles.

    • AKC Novice Trick Dog (TKN) Your dog performs 10 skills from the Novice list.  
    • AKC Intermediate Trick Dog (TKI) Your dog must have Novice title, plus perform 10 Intermediate tricks. 
    • AKC Advanced Trick Dog (TKA)  You dog must have Intermediate title, plus perform 10 tricks from the Advanced list.  
    • AKC Trick D

    There are five AKC Trick Titles.

    • AKC Novice Trick Dog (TKN) Your dog performs 10 skills from the Novice list.  
    • AKC Intermediate Trick Dog (TKI) Your dog must have Novice title, plus perform 10 Intermediate tricks. 
    • AKC Advanced Trick Dog (TKA)  You dog must have Intermediate title, plus perform 10 tricks from the Advanced list.  
    • AKC Trick Dog Performer (TKP) Handlers perform a short routine with at least 10 tricks with at least 3 tricks using props.  
    • AKC Trick Dog Elite Performer (TKE) The Elite Performers perform a routine that has a story/script using at least 5 props.

     The purpose of the ATT is to test for fear, shyness, inability to recover, and lack of cooperation. The AKC Temperament Test (ATT) is a general temperament test for all breeds and mixed breed dogs assesses a dog’s reaction to a variety of stimuli. These stimuli are in the following six categories: Social, Auditory, Visual, Tactile, Propr

     The purpose of the ATT is to test for fear, shyness, inability to recover, and lack of cooperation. These stimuli are in the following six categories: Social, Auditory, Visual, Tactile, Proprioceptive and Unexpected Stimuli. Desired traits are; emotionally stable, inquisitive, appropriately social for its breed, biddable, and demonstrates the ability, to recover from a startling situation, in a reasonable amount of time. Dogs who show signs of aggression will not pass the test. The ATT is a non-competitive pass-fail test.
