Hunt, all exclusively owner-handled.

Having owned a boarding kennel & training facility as well as being a former board member of

an animal shelter, a lead dog trainer at a veterinary office and 4H dog training volunteer, my

passion is assisting owners and their dogs to become a winning team, whether this is in the

show ring or in their home as a well behaved pet.

Board of Director: Dana Alexander- Non-Sporting

I’ve been showing and selectively breeding my Löwchen since 2017. I became an AKC Breeder of Merit four years after I started breeding and showing. My dogs are high achievers in other registries as well. We have titled dogs in Dock Diving and conformation. I attribute my success to the breeders who came before me and trusted me with their breeding stock.  I’ve owned Löwchen since 2002;  I fell in love with the breed in the 80’s after watching Freeway on Hart to Hart, television show. When I purchased my first Löwchen, I  did not know Freeway was a Löwchen, but my love of this breed was meant to be. We “collected” other breeders “rejects” and retirees, for more than 15 years. For fun, I stepped into the show ring, June of 2017,  with a young, male Löwchen that was given to me by his breeder. He went BOB that day.

I look forward to working for Arrowhead Kennel Club.
